My head hurts!
I went to the doctor, he actually had me get x-rays of my sinuses. As I was sick just three weeks ago (no two weeks ago!) I was worried about always getting sinus infections after someone at the hospital sneezed on me!
Anyways, two days after my doctors appointment, I keep getting worse. I had to wait a day for the x-ray results...anyways. The nurse calls me and askes me all sorts of questions and gets my pharmacy number. I got my expected nose steriod spray, and an antibotic.
Um...OMG!
Levaquin?
...and they tell me I don't look sick....

I was having problems with my sinuses and I went to the doctor to check into sinus surgery. He said that my sinuses are fine and that I have enlarged turbinates. I had to try a steroid spray, but unfortunately for me, the steroid only offered me temporary relief. I had the turbinate reduction surgery last week and I've never breathed so much air, ever. Also, I don't feel all the congestion in my head that I thought were sinuses. It's so great! If you want to know more, I can tell you about it, but I don't want to bore you.
I hope that you feel better!

I am thinking about going to an ENT cause I have ear problems too....
I've had sinus problems for years (25+). I get fluid filled cysts in my sinus cavities that grow and clog the passages. I even had one side irrigated long ago to wash out the imbedded cysts. I felt good for a year or two, then it all started again.
Since I relocated, though, all the new ent's want to go through the process from the beginning -- "use this spray" bullshit that not only doesn't work, but I'd used them so long that I get major nosebleeds from them. It's been getting worse ever since I moved, but each new specialist wants to start from scratch, dammit.
So I guess what I'm saying, if you read between the lines of my whining, is "I hear you babe!"
